The most common style of decoration for glazed ceramic tiles is the decal or transfer. Designs are printed and then attached to the tile surface before being re-fired to produce a permanent image. Traditionally this has been a screen-printing process and production runs are relatively large to make costs acceptable. Unique designs, fitted in a space the customer specifies, and on a tile of their choosing, until now has only been available at very high cost.

Recent developments in computer technology and ceramic colour production now allow images to be printed easily and quickly at near-photographic quality. Single orders, murals and even one-off individual replacement tiles are all possible at affordable prices.

Durability: All our decoration is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, including swimming pools. In fact, in testament to the quality of our work, we also produce dishwasher, freezer and microwave-safe tableware using the same methods.

Colour: Using a dedicated colour printing process, a wide range of colours can be reproduced, including vivid reds and oranges - colours that are traditionally difficult to achieve with ceramics.

Experience: We have been working with digital printing for over 4 years, and have our own printing & decorating facilities in Warwick, England. In addition to tiling & restoration work, we supply many of the best known museum and gift shops with a range of decorated custom ceramics, including mugs, tiles and tableware.

Prices & Delivery: Depends on the artwork, size and style of tile, and can be as low as £250/square metre. Almost all tile and mural decoration is made to order with typical lead times of 15 days after the artwork has been approved. A non-refundable deposit is required to cover design & sampling costs. We accept all major debit and credit cards.

Design Help: You can select images from our catalogue, supply your own artwork and photography, provide a brief, or commission our own illustrative and fine artists. Our catalogue also contains a range of popular tile shapes, sizes and textures, although a quick call into your local tile store may be useful to see a wider selection.

Almost any glazed surface is suitable, although non-white tiles can significantly affect the printed colours.

Once the specification is agreed, including the tiled area dimensions, we will supply:

• a design drawing

• a sample decorated tile

• a final quotation

for your approval before committing to printing and decorating the tiles.
